Ashburton Chamber Music Festival 2022

26 June: This page is still being edited – basic information available below. More details, images & info are being added in the next few days.

From Thursday 14 July – Sunday 24 July 2022 our third festival where we welcome four fabulous string players to our corner of South Devon to live with us and play some of the most exciting music ever written over the course of FIVE concerts, plus two Hausmusiks where the audience chooses, and the musicians sight-read the music without any rehearsal (this informal format has its own particular energy, and is great to be part of). Then there’s open rehearsals, discussion, a lecture and the première of a new movement in Tom Vignieri’s American Suite to go with the two he wrote for our first two festivals in 2019 and 2021.

Here’s the schedule – tickets will be available very soon. See below for more about the music, and the musicians.
