Pianist Joe Webb has emerged as a leading force on the global jazz scene today, captivating audiences with his exceptional talent and rockstar-like persona.

Joe Webb is an extraordinarily gifted pianist and improviser who, taking inspiration from the flavour of 90s Brit-pop and adding references to his Welsh cultural roots, seamlessly blends traditional jazz with contemporary flair. His innovative approach breathes new life into classic jazz idioms, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly original. The trio’s ability to amalgamate the old and the new has garnered them a deserved reputation for pushing the boundaries of jazz while respecting its rich heritage.
Born and raised in Wales, Joe relocated to London in 2013, where he has established himself as an active and influential figure on the music scene. His trio has toured the world including performances at Ronnie Scott’s, Blue Note China, Jazzwoche Burghausen, and the London Jazz Festival.
Joe is known for his work with the acclaimed Kansas Smitty’s band as well as his recent collaborations with the Wynton Marsalis Quartet, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. Not only a remarkable performer, but he is also in high demand as a recording artist on both piano and Hammond organ.
Fuelled by a deep love for 90s guitar bands and an unwavering passion for football (with a slight obsession for Lionel Messi), Joe Webb brings a unique blend of influences to his music. He skillfully merges traditional piano mastery with a captivating rockstar persona, defying conventions and pushing the boundaries of contemporary jazz.
