Bethany Ley (aka Stenning) is an independent producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Bristol, UK. Her sonic world circulates intricate arrangements informed by Bethany’s eclectic musical background, creating “sublime twilight electronica” . Her inspiration stems from the textures and sounds of Indonesian Gamelan, Debussy, and Alice Coltrane to the popular voices of Cocorosie, Aphex Twin, and FKA twigs. The combination of virtuoso arrangements and intriguing granular sound design come together to create an otherworldly and hypnotic sonic landscape.

Here, Bethany will be joined by Laura Wilson and Hamish Mitchinson to perform her ‘Suite for solo violin and software abuse’. Here’s one of the movements, which sounds rather magical:

Hamish Mitchinson will play the first set. It might involve cactii.
