At the general election on 4 July 2024 where a Member of Parliament will be elected to represent the Devon Central constituency. All six candidates have been invited. They are:
Jeffrey Leeks, Reform UK
Ollie Pearson, Labour Party
Arthur Price, Independent
Mel Stride, Conservative and Unionist Party
Gill Westcott, Green Party
Mark Wooding, Liberal Democrats
If you’d like to ask a question, please submit it in advance to townclerk@ashburton.org or post it through the letter box at the Town Hall, North St, Ashburton by 12 noon on 26 June (later questions will be considered if possible). Please state whether you are registered to vote in Devon Central, and give your address (this won’t be kept after this event). Questions will be selected that are representative of those submitted, and/or look most interesting.
Doors open at 6.45pm for a prompt start at 7pm.
We expect it to end around 9pm. There are no tickets bookable in advance. If you need a
wheelchair space or have mobility issues and need a ground floor seat,
please email boxoffice@ashburtonarts.org.uk to arrange.
