Join our informal Hausmusik events where the audience decide what’s played from a selection of chamber music and the musicians sight-read it together for the first time.
If the weather is good, bring a picnic from 6pm and enjoy music at this gorgeous venue.
Originally this was due to happen at Bigadon Cottage where it has happened before. However, the house there no longer has an indoor option, and the forecast looks like rain is possible. While we’re sad not to return to Bigadon, we’re delighted to have been offered a very beautiful alternative at The Plant Room, at Anràn in Landscove. This is a truly stunning location, inside and out. If the weather IS good enough, you are still very welcome to come early from 6pm, bring a picnic to have in the garden around the Plant House.
Directions to the venue: Use TQ13 7LY in Google Maps
On the road into Landscove from Ashburton, just after Hill House Nursery on the right, take the right turn towards the church and primary school.
You can either park in the car park opposite the church, then walk down the footpath next to the church, through the Anràn veg gardens – about 300 yards.
OR – continue down the hill past the church, to the first Anràn gate, and park there, very close to the Plant House.
If you’re coming from the Totnes/Dartington direction, you’ll first pass the Anràn shop on your left. The entrance to the plant house is a little further on your right. Either park there, or carry on up the hill to park opposite the church, and have a short walk down through the garden.
