Another great line up of two of the best blues acts in the South West, followed by a blues jam session. The live music starts pretty sharp after 7.30pm, as we have three sets to fit in before the end of the night around 11pm.
Two superb performers who’ve both been here before. Organiser Mary Caffrey writes:
Nemo Jones songsmith and writer, plays an intoxicating blend of acoustic funk and soull. Nemo has toured with Faithless, Sia, Urban Species and Alison Moyet and many others. He has performed around the world and at The Albert Hall , Wembley Arena, Brixton Academy and Glastonbury main stage. Now based here in South Devon.
Adam Sweet & Ian Jennings. Adam Sweet can tear your heart out with his brooding blues and then move to rollicking rootsy rock, balancing richly detailed song writing with soulful vocals and expertly piercing guitar work. A young bluesman with an ancient soul and a large presence in the here and now. Adam’s sound has developed from working closely with bassist Ian Jennings. Ian has played with many blues greats, the late and much mourned Jeff Beck, Robert Plant, Mick Fleetwood, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton…
There’s always a blues jam at the end – if you’d like to play, come along, or contact Mary on firstname.lastname@example.org.
