Carolyn Hume, Paul May, Angus Balbernie and other SW All-stars (see this performance on Sat 14 January) are once again leading a workshop which is open to anyone who would like to join in playing any instrument, dancing or however you like. This will run from 12pm – 5pm, with the last hour from 4pm being an informal performance, open to all – free entry (donations to leave :-).
These workshops really are open to anyone, and whether you’re already an accomplished musician, or dancer, mover or improviser, or have never performed with others in any way, workshops like this can provide an opportunity to learn something new, and to have a really fulfilling experience. The three leaders have decades of experience between them in helping people to get the most from sessions like this.
From 4pm, there will be an hour or so of informal performance – all welcome to come and watch.
