Three musical friends decided to do something different and revive the trio format popularised by Nat “King” Cole, Oscar Peterson and Ray Charles in the 1950s: piano, guitar and bass. On bass is Jim Rintoul, Adrian Balletto on guitar and pianist Tom Ball complete the trio. Expect everything from tight, arranged Nat Cole originals and loose-to-made-up-on-the-spot remixes of classic pop songs!
Marvin Muoneké is a gifted jazz singer-songwriter, arranger and performing/recording artist based in the South West of England. His bass-baritone voice has often been referred to as rich, deep and smooth. Bringing the songs and sounds of mid-20th century jazz to modern listeners of all ages, Marvin possesses a rare and beautiful presence that can light up any audience of any venue within seconds.
