This 35-strong, Dartmoor-based folk choir, bring us ‘In This Heart’ a selection of stunning traditional and contemporary songs, of love, joy and bravery.
Building a solid reputation for exciting singing, they have been booked for Sidmouth Folk Week and have supported Show of Hands on tour and at the Royal Albert Hall.
Led by Sandra Smith, a well- known and respected choir coach, they will sound fabulous in the wonderful acoustic of our old chapel.

The Lost Sound started in 2008 with an eclectic mix of untrained singers who had a passion for learning about themselves and their singing and who were keen to experiment. They started performing in 2010, after spending 18 months training and exploring together and learning how to be a choir.
Singing with a strong folk element under-pinning their set, The Lost Sound are always searching for imaginative, contemporary arrangements that give new slants to these wonderful old melodies. They are known for multi-layered textures and harmony – often having 5-8 parts running at once!
