This talented American trio combines a wide range of influences including bluegrass, Western Swing, blues and more, to create an attractive groove-filled blend of American roots music.
Born out of a longstanding residency at a distillery in Durango, Colorado, Stillhouse Junkies quickly became a fixture on the music scene of that state, establishing a solid fan base over recent years. They’ve met with increasing success over the last year, performing at venues and festivals across the USA and recording their third album Calamity, due for release in early 2020.
Fred Kosak (guitar/mandolin/vocals), Alissa Wolf (fiddle/vocals), and Cody Tinnin (double bass/banjo/vocals) have built up an eclectic catalogue of fine original music alongside some fun and creative covers. Paying tribute to the remarkable diversity of the Southwestern USA, their songs run the gamut of human experience – confronting adversity in its many forms or imagining reality from the perspective of a small-town bartender or a lonely cattle driver.
Combining outstanding musicianship with a lively stage presence, Stillhouse Junkies are sure to win many new fans on this debut UK tour.
