Price: £10 or £8 or £5 – Pay What You Can
For the last 2 years, we’ve added Ashburton to the places around the world where Mardi Gras is celebrated. Rio and Venice have their Carnivals; New Orleans really goes to town in a BIG Easy kind of way. This year we’re adding some real West Country into the mix as we welcome the Grimspound Border Morris dancers to our parade (6.30pm), followed by a set by them in the forecourt outside the Arts Centre (7pm). After that, we join Martine Waltier with a great new band: Frisco Fiasco and special guest MAMA TOKUS to party away the rest of the night. Please come and join us! From 7.30pm, you’ll need a ticket – only £10 or £8 or £5 – you choose, pay what you can.
Frisco Fiasco:
Martine Waltier – Vocals/Violin
Jesse Molins – Electric Guitar
Marcus Vergette – Double Bass
Ric Byer – Drums
Different prices are all for the same unreserved seats – or dancing areas – please pay what you can.
Tickets in advance from wegottickets.com/ashburtonarts (10% booking fee added) or in person from Rafikis (next door to the Arts Centre), Ashburton Information Centre and (usually) on the door.
