Orpheus’  Latin extravaganza is ready to transport you straight to Brazil, with melodic lines and diverse rhythms that will see you ‘dancing until dawn!’

The group plays a mix of uplifting sambas and stunning bossa novas to sell out shows which have been well received by audiences of all ages. Ecuadorian/Swedish singer Annika brings authenticity to the performances by singing the songs in their native written language of Portuguese.

The band features some of the very finest in the area — six musicians based in Devon, all well respected artists in their own right with wide ranging individual backgrounds in jazz, classical music, blues, rock, pop, soul/funk and gospel, and brought together by a mutual love of Brazilian music.

Annika Skoogh – vocals
Martin Jenkins – Hammond organ
Steve Dow – guitar
Jade Gall – flute/sax
Gary Evans – drums
Colin Seddon – percussion
