Stylistically nestled somewhere between the raw hammond soul, R&B and boogaloo of the mid 1960s and the infectious groove of early 70s funk, BROTHER JACK pays homage to this great period in music busting out classic tunes from the likes of Brother Jack Mcduff and Lou Donaldson to the Crusaders with a handful of groove-heavy originals in between.
