The first Monday of each month starting at 7.30pm. Each session will open with a short set from the house band before the jam starts. The house band will feature a different line up each month. Admission is £7 or £5 or £3 (or free if you really need it to be). This goes towards paying the professional musicians in the house band.
The first of these is on 2 Oct 2023 when the house band will be:
Martin Jenkins on Hammond organ
Jesse Molins on guitar
Gary Evans on drums.
Everyone is welcome to come and play or sing at the session. If you’d like to play, introduce yourself to the host, usually Jesse Molins, who’ll decide on a running order. You should have at least one tune prepared that you know well. If it’s not a standard, or if you need to do it in a different key from the original, please bring lead sheets or chord charts in the right key for the rhythm section and other players who might join you.
