Soren Bryce is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for her ethereal blend of folk and alternative rock. Born in Amarillo, Texas, she began her musical journey at a young age, learning violin and guitar before developing a path in songwriting. Her music often blends introspective lyrics with raw, angular, and organic instrumentation – drawing comparisons to artists like Fiona Apple, Liz Phair, and Daughter. Bryce’s sound is often characterized by its emotional depth, blending minimalist production with complex themes of self-reflection, heartache, and healing.

In 2018, Soren rebranded herself under the moniker Tummyache, a project that allowed her to experiment further with alternative rock, math rock, and punk influence. The band project has gone on to release two albums and is currently recording its third.

The newest solo album – ‘To Cherish’ – will be out October 16th and was produced by Bryce’s dear friend Peter Miles of Middle Farm Studios direct to tape. The first release in seven years, it is a stark contrast to the work of Tummyache while still maintaining Bryce’s core perspective.

Whether performing solo or as part of Tummyache, Soren Bryce has remained a distinctive voice in the indie music scene, captivating listeners with her haunting voice and bold experimentation across genres.

Beyond her music career, she is known for her DIY ethos, often producing her own work and creating visual elements for her releases, including music videos and artwork. Her return to solo work has reestablished her as a vital voice in contemporary indie music, pushing the boundaries of her sound while staying true to the emotional core that has always defined her artistry.
